You will need your ID, mobile number and IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) number. To obtain your IMEI number, dial *#06# on your cellular telephone. WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU SELL YOUR PHONE: There are 5 simple things you must do whenever you sell your cellular telephone: 1. Obtain a copy of the buyers ID, including the phone, full names and ID number. 2. Obtain residential or postal address of buyer. 3. Retain photocopy of ID of buyer. 4. Verify that the photo, full name and ID number do belong to buyer, and have buyer sign copy and papers you have entered information. As the seller, you must ensure that proper records are kept of this information. |
